Melissa and Cliff, Engagement in San Juan Capistrano Mission
Engagement shoots are a great way for the photographer to get to know the couple and the couple  to get to know the photographer. Every couple is different and that’s how I like to approach every photoshoot. Melissa and Cliff were super shy in front of the camera but after awhile they started to loosen up. I wanted to capture their silly personalities and genuine fun love that they have for each other. They ended up having a blast at their photoshoot and I just love how their images came out.

Stacey and Rapheal
The rain didn’t stop these two from having an absolutely gorgeous wedding. Even though things didn’t go exactly as planned what really mattered went perfect. Stacey and Rapheal tied the knot at The Lindley Scott House in Azusa California. I loved shooting at this beautiful property. I have way too many favorites from this wedding but here are just a few of the best of the best. Congrats to these two and cheers to a life long marriage.

Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed and Something Blue
My first wedding of 2015, Matt and Griselda it was a pleasure. Their beautiful wedding took place at the Eagle Glen Golf Course in Corona California. Their blue themed wedding got me thinking about the something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue “ritual”. Most of the weddings I do brides still follow this ritual. I looked into it recently and found out that this phrase started as far back as 1894 the Victorian period. Participating in this ritual is suppose to be lucky for the bride according to www.phrases.org.uk. The original phrase goes like this
“Something old, something new,
Something borrowed, something blue,
And a silver sixpence in her shoe”
It’s a Puritan Marriage Custom. The sixpence was a silver coin which was in use in the UK between the 17th and 20th centuries. It’s crazy how this one rhyme has lasted us hundreds of years. Wow! Anyways, thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoys these images. They’ll be plenty more to come this year.
Robert and Kristins Fabulous Fall Wedding
Robert and Kristin’s wedding was one of my last weddings for 2014. Their wedding took place on a rainy fall day, it was a perfect backdrop to their fall theme. Congrats you two, it was a beautiful day and an honor to photograph your wedding.
I would also like to take the time to say thank you to all my wonderful clients from this year. At times being a wedding photographer can be extremely challenging. There’s a constant doubt and comparison. I can’t help but think I’m not good enough for the job. However, I have had constant support and I am so thankful for that. When I look back I have grown so much and will only continue to get better. I hope to capture pure, true, and real moments. I want to bring joy and meaning through my photography. Thank you so much to all my wonderful family and friends who have supported my art. Thank you to my clients for believing in my talents. I am looking forward to next year. Welcome 2015!
